Elections results reflect where the people are, not the candidate.

Obama didn’t win because he was a great orator or had great ideas, the people wanted an end to the ill conceived response of Bush to 9/11.

Trump won because blue collar workers were angry being ignored in the rush to globalization, they voted for anger.

Going forward to 2020, nothing has improved with the anger factors. In fact they have gotten worse, and the pandemic has clearly illustrated the crisis for the poor. Now a combination of comfort and innovation to handle health and climate issues are the deciders.
