A Little Perspective this Morning

I think party leaders are putting way too much emphasis on electability. Virtually any Democrat could beat Trump. Wringing of hands by old timers, like Carville, the search for the perfect candidate does not inspire confidence.

The candidates don’t need radical solutions to win. Medicare for All or Free Public College are reactions to current problems but they are not realistic or fair solutions. Big changes in direction usually come from the people, not the leaders.

Bottom line, candidates just need a solid level of experience and a proven leadership background and not be a Democracy disrupter like Trump.
