Issue Success

The 2020 Election will tell us a lot about our country and while Trump is the current President, those who vote for him tell a story also. We need to not lose sight of the fact that we are living in an era of submissive office holders, many have lost their courage and are in effect torching their reputations by backing Trump. The backlash on this phenomenon is totally underestimated. First we will look at the opposition issues which tend to be personal against the majority.

Trump Negatives

1. It’s the Story, not the Truth that is important.

2. He is primarily about building wealth for himself and his friends.

3. Morals mean nothing to him.

Why Trump Survives

1. Voters with problems in dealing with the dramatic changes brought about by technology or who value money over morals are drawn to the story.

2. Voters who want to get rich themselves are a captive group. Remember one big factor driving immigration from the beginning in the 1700’s has been the opportunity to prosper.

3. There is an unspoken belief that a ruthless immoral person will get more done, just follow in his/her footsteps, just not to closely as that could affect your chances in eternity.

At which time we believe that the real issues are learned (see Digging Deeper) by the Democratic voters we will offer solutions that will lead to success in Rethinking the Country.
